Office Administrator – 24-30hrs/week

Listowel Evangelical Missionary Church is searching for an Office Administrator to serve on their ministry staff team. Our mission as a church is to lead people in a growing, passionate relationship with Jesus, and our Office Administrator will serve a crucial role in helping the church accomplish this mission.

Campaign emailing (ex. mailchimp) experience is an asset;
Planning Center Online experience is an asset

Job Description

Summer Intern

Overview: The Summer Intern is expected to assist our pastors and leaders as they live vibrant lives as followers of Jesus, through effective leadership and discipling relationships. Their example of Christian living in the church and community is essential.

Role Requirements:
● A growing, passionate relationship with Jesus, and dependence on the Holy Spirit;
● Alignment with EMCC Faith and Practice
● Reports to Pastor James
● One person working an average of 35hrs/week
● Team player with a heart for people
● Willingness to learn and grow

Proposed weekly responsibilities:
10% – weekly coaching and/or staff meeting (Wednesdays at 10:30-11:30am) 40% – preparation and planning for events
30% – execution and assistance with events
20% – organizing, preparation and maintenance for regular programming
The Summer Intern is expected to but not limited to:
● Involvement weekly in one community serving project.
● Collaborate with the team on vision, lesson planning, and format (Up, In, Out rhythms) for

Programs;
● Help prepare for and assist in running VBS – Third week in July
● Expected to run a sports community night
● Facilitate events, leading as well as empowering other leaders;
● Clarify weekly job rhythm with other staff;
● Participate in LEMC staff meetings, and scheduled check-ins and coaching;
● Ensure all RISK policies are implemented and carefully being followed;
● Lead children’s ministry on Sunday mornings
● Update digital records
